Today I bought some Quinoa, one of those do I / don’t I grains. Well I did, in fact I went one better and bought 2 bags on BOGOF.
Risky? Heck yes but I went there anyway determined to give it a decent go.
Given this recipe is the first where I’ve used Quinoa and I’ve never had it before so didn’t have a clue what to put it with I was highly impressed by both the product and my recipe and thats something for someone more of a baker than texture and flavour goddess.
So here is my yummy recipe I hope you like it as much as I did.
Homegrown red and green lettuce freshly picked and washed
1/5 Cucumber chopped
1/4 Carrot grated
4 Strawberries cut into 8 pieces
1/2 tsp Chia seeds
2-3 tbsp Quinoa cooked
Apple sauce salad dressing
1 tsp Pumpkin seeds
